Series: Guitar Collection
Tools: PaintShopPro ver 5.01 1974 Rickenbacker 4001 Jetglo Serial Number: NI 5836 This particular bass is a 1974 and has very few of the changed features since it was one of the earlier basses to realize the new era. Rickenbacker only produced the 4001 from 1960 through 1983 (with a few released as late as - 84?) During that time span many features and slight modifications were made to the 4001 series. This particular bass is a 1980 and has the respective changed features. This model came standard with a neck-thru-body, neck and body binding and dual output jacks. One mono and a stereo "Rick-O-Sound" jack. Bound body, bound Rosewood fingerboard, triangle inlays, two pickups, separate volume and tone controls, truss rods adjust at head. This is just one in a set of collage images I compiled a while back. They are for the Guitar/Music section I've been working on for my personal web site. This section will be used to display my old Guitar Collection (and detailed information about each one) as well as a few other instruments I play. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
