The 4003 Shadow is the forerunner to the *Black Star* bass and part of Rickenbacker's 4000 Series of basses. There were only a hand full of these basses produced with all black hardware and covers..
This is considered a bit of a rarity in that this series of basses were limited in years of production. The first ones came out in 1986 and they were discontinued in the late 80s'. (Jetglo black is official color)
This is one in a set of collage images I compiled a while back. They are for the Guitar/Music section I've been working on for my personal web site. This section will be used to display my old Guitar Collection (and detailed information about each one) as well as a few other instruments I play.
