Painting Jamar - For The Cheetah Challenge

Allow me to introduce Jamar, a Cheetah cub that lives with his twin brother Moyo at an animal rescue sanctuary called Animal Ark located outside Reno, Nevada. They are from South Africa as part of the DeWildt Cheetah Centre and Wildlife Trust’s Cheetah Ambassador Program. They spent the first 10 months of their lives in South Africa and arrived at Animal Ark in April 2006.

Animal Ark had their Fourth Annual Cheetah Challenge last month (Aug. 06), a fund raiser which helps the sanctuary gain winter funding for all of its residents. Upon completion, this painting was custom framed and donated to the Ark and auctioned to help raise funds for their program.
